 “The sound of Floating Points, or Book 2 as it was when I put this playlist together. Electronic leaning featuring Bonobo, Caribou, Cassius, Flying Lotus, Matthew Dear, Jamie XX, LCD Soundsystem, Floating Points [after whom the book is named] and a lot of Ben Khan - I first heard his track Drive, Pt.1 while walking under a bridge in Paris and that moment inspired two major scenes in the book. Also includes Groove Armada’s Paper Romance the sheer joy and release of which unlocked the opening of the book which I’d been struggling with for more than a year.”
